High-Strength Fine-Grained Structural Steel
SIMAXX 700 has an excellent combination of high strength, toughness, and workshop properties, making it ideal for use in a wide range of industries where a high strength-to-weight ratio is required. Typical products made from SIMAXX 700 steel include truck trailer chassis, load-bearing components for agricultural machinery, and booms for the advanced lifting industry.

Product advantages
Higher strength – lower carbon footprint
SIMAXX 700 offers greater load capacity at reduced thickness compared to non-alloyed structural steels. Its superior strength makes metal structures lighter and more cost-efficient while extending product lifespan. In this way, we can significantly reduce fuel consumption and related CO₂ emissions.

Combining high strength with high toughness
SIMAXX 700 can withstand plastic deformation at high loads without breaking the material while maintaining good weldability. It is exceptionally tough and ensures excellent mechanical properties at temperatures as low as –60 °C (Q, QL, QL1).
Workshop properties
SIMAXX 700 has good bendability and can be welded using all arc welding processes. The thinner plates require less welding, resulting in lower production costs.
Manufacture
SIMAXX 700 is made by SIJ Acroni.
