Green financing
At the SIJ Group, we recognize opportunities for collaboration with investors who understand the positive financial impacts of sustainable operations in the steel industry. As a foundation for approaches to financing with sustainable development characteristics, the SIJ Group has published the Sustainable Finance Framework, SPO, the Decarbonization Plan 2020-2030-2050, and other relevant documents. Proceeds from these financial instruments contribute to achieving business, environmental, and social objectives.
Sustainability targets
By 2030, we will reduce 51% of steel production-specific emissions, compared to 2020.
All six SIJ Group companies in Slovenia will be certified under the ISO 45001 standard of occupational health and safety by 2026.
