The Recycling and Processing division plays a crucial role in our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy. Since all our steel is made from recycled steel scrap, our vertical integration and ownership of a scrap division ensure a constant supply of steel scrap and uninterrupted production.
Recycling companies collect, process and sort metal scrap, preparing it for transport and basic processing. The capacity of our scrap division covers 100% of the demand for unalloyed steel scrap within the steel division, and we also sell any surplus steel scrap.
